Photograms contain objects or materials that are placed on light sensitive paper. They are then exposed to reveal the positive of the image as negative. Meaning what was once object is now the white, lightest part of the picture. The materials have been inverted. I combine objects with oils and ointments to create these prints. the light reflected within the liquids produce unexpected illusions and shadows that are in turn mirrored onto the paper. The paper is then scanned into the computer where contrast is defined and sizes vary. I exhibit the prints as toner printed copies. The original grease accrued prints act as paper negatives in archive.
