This series began with video projections on 18th century ruins. It moves into personal experiences of projecting, related to psychology. At times, I thought of projection as physical material. As particles of light interrupted by structure. Other times, it felt like thinking embedded within my subconscious suddenly bounced to consciousness.

The dichotomy of these concepts as the same term fuels my curiosity for them. Can I see the perimeter of your identity? Is being envious a communal event? Do you see the same photons as I do? I think this work is about seeing versus perceiving.

My practice has been about these activations or better yet, experiences for the past five years.
